Maven Human Services Framwork provides 3 integrated portals - one for citizens, one for stateworkers and one for system administrators. Most aspects of the portals are configured through visual configuration tools without source code changes. Maven is a modifiable-off-the-shelf (MOTS) solution - a new generation of software beyond COTS (commercial off the shelf). As most Maven changes are done through visual configuration, the total life-cycle cost of the solution is substantially less than peer solutions as most changes can be done by state staff or by contractors with skills that can readily obtained from the market. This means that for most changes the customer doesn't have to come back to the vendor - hence fewer change requests. Maven Human Services framework can power WIC, SACWIS, TANF, Food Stamp, Child Support Enforcement and many other programs. |
